We are a presbytery under Holy Construction in all we do...

  • Building Spiritual Depth
  • Building Respectful and Caring Community
  • Building Parterships among Congregations and Pastors

The Presbytery of the Redwoods is a regional body of the Synod of the Pacific and the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.).  We are 51 congregations, 6,373 congregational members, and 153 minister members.  Our geographical boundaries stretch along the northern California coast from the Golden Gate Bridge to the Oregon border, including the counties of Marin, Sonoma, Napa, Solano, Lake, Mendocino, and Humboldt.  We are a partnership of Christ's disciples with a variety of backgrounds, experiences and perspectives.  In the midst of our diversity and differences, we respect and support one another as we carry out our individual ministries and our common mission as a presbytery.  Click here to see our Strategic Directions for Mission.

From the lectionary of
April 27, 2014
John 20: 21-22, 30-31
Jesus said to them again,
"Peace be with you.
As the Father has sent me,
so I send you."
When he had said this,
he breathed on them
and said to them,
"Receive the Holy Spirit."
Now Jesus did many other
signs in the presence
of his disciples,
which are not written
in this book.
But these are written
so that you may come to
believe that Jesus is
the Messiah, the Son of God,
and that through believing
you may have life in his name.
